Plot
Young governess Ann arrives at a remote country estate to care for orphans Miles and Flora. Shortly after her arrival, Miles is expelled from school, raising Ann's suspicions about his behavior. As she grows fond of the children, disturbing apparitions begin to appear around the grounds, hinting at dark secrets linked to her predecessor's mysterious death. Convinced that sinister forces threaten the children, Ann embarks on a desperate quest to protect them, even as her grip on reality begins to slip, putting her own safety and sanity on the line.
