That same year marked her cinematic debut in the short film *L'ignota*, produced by Aquila Films. Quaranta achieved widespread recognition in 1914 for her remarkable performance in the landmark film *Cabiria*, a role that catapulted her to international stardom.

During the period from 1915 to 1920, she showcased her talent in a variety of films produced by numerous film studios, prominently featuring in the notable production *The Three Sentimental*. Following this success, she transitioned to Fert, where she continued to act in several films, further solidifying her status in the industry.

Tragically, Lidia Quaranta's life was cut short when she passed away from pneumonia in 1928 at the young age of 36. Her legacy endures in the annals of cinema, and she rests at the Monumental Cemetery of Turin, commemorated as a pioneering figure in early Italian film history.
