Ryō Ikebe (February 11, 1918 - October 8, 2010) was a notable Japanese actor whose career spanned several decades. He graduated from Rikkyō University, initially aspiring to become a screenwriter. However, his path led him to debut as an actor at Tōhō in 1941. Ikebe gained significant recognition in the late 1940s through a series of youth-oriented films, which resonated with audiences and helped elevate his profile in the industry.
