Payman Maadi

Peyman Maadi, born in 1970 in New York City to Iranian parents, spent his early childhood in Iran after his family returned when he was just five. He pursued higher education in Metallurgical Engineering at Karaj Azad University, but his true passion lay in the realm of cinema. His acting debut came in 2009 with Asghar Farhadi's critically acclaimed film *About Elly*, which marked the beginning of a successful transition to acting.
