Plot
Rosie Ming, a young Canadian poet, reluctantly accepts an invitation to a Poetry Festival in Shiraz, Iran, preferring the allure of Paris instead. Living under the watchful eye of her protective Chinese grandparents, she has never ventured out on her own. However, her time in Iran introduces her to a vibrant community of poets and locals, who challenge her perceptions and compel her to explore her past. As she unravels the truth about her estranged Iranian father and her cultural identity, Rosie embarks on a transformative journey of forgiveness and self-discovery through the power of poetry.
