Sarah Chalke

Sarah Louise Christine Chalke, born on August 27, 1976, is a talented Canadian actress and model, celebrated for her diverse roles in television and film. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Kate Mularkey in Netflix's hit series Firefly Lane. Chalke's impressive career includes notable performances as Gabi in the film Mother's Day, Paula Crowe in Chaos Theory, and the beloved Dr. Elliot Reid on the long-running sitcom Scrubs. Her film credits also feature Gloria Macintosh in Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy and appearances in the CBC series Muriel Jake's and CTV's Neon Rider, as well as her role as "Second Becky" Conner on Roseanne.

In addition to her extensive television work, Chalke has had memorable recurring roles in popular series such as Merrill Morgan in Friends from College, Melanie Hertzal in Speechless, Amy Gazanian in Backstrom, and Stella Zinman in How I Met Your Mother. Chalke became engaged to Canadian lawyer Jamie Afifi in December 2006, after dating for three years. However, in September 2022, she revealed that they had separated. The couple shares two children: a son born in December 2009 and a daughter born in May 2016.
