Plot

After discovering her goldfish dead and her boyfriend's betrayal, Shawn Holloway heads to the roof of her bank, contemplating suicide. Just as she’s about to jump, Charlie Anders, a desperate bank robber, takes her hostage. With a million dollars stolen and aspirations of a Venezuelan getaway, Shawn strikes a deal: she’ll help him escape if he promises to end her life afterwards. As their chaotic plans unravel, Charlie attempts to understand Shawn’s despair, leading to moments of introspection for both. As darkness falls, they confront their fates: Charlie facing capture and Shawn teetering on the brink.
