Belinda Lee (June 15, 1935 – March 12, 1961) was a talented English actress whose career, though tragically brief, left a lasting impact on the film industry. Hailing from Budleigh Salterton, England, she captured the attention of Rank Studios in 1954 while performing as a student at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Initially cast in more reserved roles, Lee soon transitioned to portrayals of alluring characters, which ultimately led to her being typecast as one of the "sexy blondes" of her era, often drawing unfavorable comparisons to the well-known actress Diana Dors. One of her notable appearances during this period was in the 1956 Benny Hill film, Who Done It?

Lee's personal life included a marriage to renowned photographer Cornel Lucas from 1954 until their divorce in 1959. Following this, she relocated to Italy, where she continued to embrace roles as seductive sirens in Italian cinema. Nevertheless, she also showcased her dramatic talent in films such as Francesco Rosi's I Magliari (1959) and Florestano Vancini's La lunga notte del '43 (1960), both of which highlighted her range as an actress.

Tragically, Belinda Lee's life was cut short when she died in a car accident while vacationing near San Bernardino, California. Her remains were laid to rest at Campo Cestio Catholic Cemetery in Rome, Italy, a testament to her enduring legacy in the world of film.
