Langley Kirkwood
Langley Kirkwood was born into a creative family, with his father being a poet and his mother an art educator. This rich artistic environment in his early years laid the groundwork for his passion for acting, which blossomed during his school days. He pursued drama studies at Johannesburg's prestigious Wits University, after which he quickly began his professional journey in theatre.
Kirkwood made a remarkable debut at Johannesburg's Market Theatre, where he portrayed Billy the Kid, earning critical acclaim and an award for his performance. He continued to impress audiences with his talent, receiving nominations for various roles in theatrical productions across Johannesburg and Cape Town. Notably, his portrayal of Biff Loman in Arthur Miller's *Death of a Salesman* garnered him yet another prestigious award.
Outside of his artistic endeavors, Kirkwood is a devoted father to his two children, Willow and Phoenix, whom he shares with former Calvin Klein model Josie Borain. Currently residing in Cape Town, he divides his time between film and television projects, while still dedicating efforts to theatre and voice acting. A fitness enthusiast, Kirkwood is passionate about trail running, cycling, and competing in ultra-distance races, showcasing his commitment to a healthy lifestyle alongside his successful acting career.
