Caroline Silhol

Caroline Silhol, born on August 10, 1949, in Paris, is a distinguished French actress and writer, celebrated for her contributions to both film and theater. Throughout her career, she has earned three nominations for the prestigious Molière Award, recognizing her exceptional talent on stage.

Silhol embarked on her journey in the performing arts in the early 1970s, taking on supporting roles in various film and television projects. Over the next twenty years, she collaborated with notable directors such as François Truffaut, Nelly Kaplan, and Alain Corneau, solidifying her reputation in the industry. Her theatrical repertoire includes acclaimed productions like *Le Paysan parvenu*, *Tartuffe*, *Les Parents terribles*, *Sodom and Gomorrah*, *Chantecler*, and *The Infernal Machine*.

Her film career gained momentum with significant roles in internationally recognized works such as *Tous les Matins du Monde* (1991), *Vent d'est* (1993), *Prediction* (1993), and *Rembrandt* (1999).
