Vincent Ebrahim
Vincent Ebrahim, born in 1951, is a celebrated South African actor and comedian with a diverse range of roles in television. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Ashwin in the acclaimed comedy series The Kumars at No. 42, which aired on BBC and later on Sky One from 2001 to 2006 and saw a revival in 2014. Ebrahim also played the role of pub landlord Bobby in the BBC One sitcom After You've Gone, which ran from 2007 to 2008.
In addition to his work in comedy, Ebrahim took on the character Robert "Big Bob" Gupta in the popular Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks in 2014. More recently, he joined the cast of ITV’s iconic soap opera Coronation Street in 2021, playing Hashim Elamin. With his impressive talent and versatile performances, Ebrahim has made significant contributions to the entertainment industry, leaving a lasting impact on viewers and audiences alike.
