Plot
Cassim Caif is a young Muslim living in Fordsburg, Johannesburg, juggling the challenges of a new marriage, a young child, and life under the same roof as his aging parents, all while pursuing his passion as one of South Africa’s few Muslim stand-up comedians. His father, Ebrahim, has begrudgingly come to terms with his son’s career choice—for the time being—but still harbors lingering resentment about it.
