Nina Arianda
Nina Arianda, originally named Nina Arianda Matijcio, was born on September 18, 1984, in Manhattan, New York. With roots tracing back to Ukrainian families in Germany, she spent her formative years in Clifton, New Jersey, and Heidelberg, Germany. Arianda's artistic journey began at Eugene Lang College The New School for Liberal Arts, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts. She further honed her craft by obtaining a Master of Fine Arts from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Acting Program in 2009.
Arianda's talent quickly gained recognition on Broadway, where she won the Tony Award for Best Lead Actress in a Play in 2012 for her outstanding performance in "Venus in Fur." Additionally, she received a nomination for another Tony for her role in "Born Yesterday." Beyond the stage, she has made significant contributions to film and television, notably starring in the Amazon Studios legal drama "Goliath." In 2018, she portrayed Ida, the wife of Stan Laurel, in the biographical film "Stan & Ollie," showcasing her versatility as an actress.
