Innocent

Innocent Vareed Thekkethala, commonly referred to as Innocent, is a prominent Indian actor and politician. Hailing from Irinjalakuda in the Thrissur district of Kerala, he has established himself as one of the foremost comedy actors in Malayalam cinema. Known for his humorous antics and distinctive dialogue delivery characterized by the Thrissur accent, Innocent has won the hearts of many fans throughout his career.

In 2013, he faced a health challenge when he was diagnosed with throat cancer (lymphoma) and required hospitalization. However, reports indicated that the cancer was detected at an early stage, enabling him to undergo appropriate treatment.

In addition to his successful acting career, Innocent is an active politician, currently serving as a member of parliament for the Chalakudy constituency in the Lok Sabha. His dual roles as an entertainer and public servant have made him a beloved figure in both fields, showcasing his dedication to his craft and his constituents.
