Christine Willes
Christine Willes is a talented Canadian actress known for her work in television, theatre, and film. She gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Delores Herbig in the Showtime series *Dead Like Me* and as Gladys, the DMV demon, in the CW's supernatural drama *Reaper*. Additionally, she is remembered for her role as the formidable Granny Goodness in the tenth season of *Smallville*.
Willes also made her mark on *The X-Files*, where she played Agent Karen E. Kosseff, a government counselor, and reprised her role as Gladys in *Reaper*, earning a Leo Award nomination in 2008 for her performance. Her film credits include a notable appearance in the cult classic *Trick 'r Treat*, alongside fellow *Dead Like Me* alum Britt McKillip and Anna Paquin.
In March 2011, she appeared on the big screen as Madam Lazar in Catherine Hardwicke’s *Red Riding Hood*, a film notable for being directed, shot, and starring women. Willes has also made her mark in theatre, winning three Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards. She produced and starred in a production of Jasmina Reza’s *The Unexpected Man*, directed *Metamorphoses* at Pacific Theatre in August 2008, and played Clara Epp in the world premiere of *Herr Beckmann's People* at Touchstone Theatre in 2010.
