Giedre Jackyte
Giedrė Jackyte is a multifaceted Lithuanian talent, recognized as a dancer, actress, model, and entrepreneur. Her journey began early in the world of martial arts, where she showcased her skills in Karate Kyokushin, competing at the national level in Lithuania. This foundation ignited her passion for the performing arts, prompting her to pursue contemporary dance and acting.
At the age of 19, Giedrė relocated to London to enroll in the prestigious dance program at the University of Roehampton, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Dance. In 2017, she further honed her acting abilities at the Identity School of Acting, one of the UK’s top drama institutions.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Giedrė participated in the Urban MBA Enterprise training program, where she achieved an OCN Level 2 Award in Progression – Advanced Project Management Certificate. That same year, she founded 'Global Juno Women in Dance,' a dance company dedicated to empowering women in the arts, officially launching in 2018. Her company became a recipient of the Derwent Community funding through Urban MBA, furthering its mission.
Giedrė is committed to lifelong learning, continuously expanding her skill set. In addition to her work in teaching, acting, dancing, and modeling, she is currently training in Eskrima, a Filipino martial art, to enhance her capabilities for TV, film, and stage performances.
