7 titles Acting Sep 08, 1987 Tokyo, Japan

Yuika Motokariya, born on September 8, 1987, in Meguro, Tokyo, is a prominent figure in Japanese entertainment. She began her acting journey at the tender age of ten by joining a theater troupe, which laid the groundwork for her future career. Although she made her acting debut in the long-running series "Mr. Kinpachi in Class 3B," it was her role in the acclaimed film "Swing Girls" that truly launched her into the public eye.

Since 2002, Yuika has maintained a steady presence on both television and film, skillfully balancing her career with her studies at the Nihon University of Tokyo's drama department. In 2011, she faced a minor controversy after being seen in a public space in a drunken state, which was at odds with her carefully cultivated image. Nevertheless, she rebounded later that year with the release of a more mature photo book.

From 2012 to 2015, Yuika hosted the popular variety show "Osama No Buranchi" on TBS, showcasing her versatility and charm. She has also gained recognition for her resemblance to actress Kimura Tae, and has promoted various products, including coffee and automobiles. With several photo books to her credit and fan meet-and-greet events as recent as 2018, Yuika continues to captivate audiences. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys jogging, reading, and is an avid fan of singer-songwriter Aiko. She is represented by Stardust Agency.
