Armin Shimerman, born on November 5, 1949, is a distinguished American actor and voice actor celebrated for his diverse roles across television, film, and video games. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Quark, the cunning Ferengi bartender, in the acclaimed series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, a role that showcased his talent for blending humor with cunning charm.
