Sonia Petrovna

Sonia Petrovna, also known by the names Petrova and Petrowa, was born on January 13, 1952, in Paris, France. Renowned for her talents as a dancer and actress across film, television, and theater, Petrovna began her journey in the arts at a young age. From the ages of 6 to 14, she trained in dance at the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet, where she captured the attention of noted choreographer Roland Petit. This led to her participation in various ballet performances, showcasing her exceptional skills.

Petrovna's transition to acting brought her significant recognition, particularly in 1972 when she portrayed Vanina Abati in "La prima notte di quiete," sharing the screen with the acclaimed Alain Delon. That same year, she further solidified her status as a rising star by taking on the role of Princess Sofia in "Ludwig," a historical drama that featured prominent actors such as Helmut Berger, John Moulder Brown, and Romy Schneider.
