Terry Chen, born on February 3, 1975, is a prominent Canadian actor known for his work in both film and television. He hails from Edmonton, Alberta, where he was born to ethnic Chinese parents with roots in China and Taiwan. Chen's educational journey took him from local schools to Vancouver, British Columbia, and he later attended the University of Calgary. His passion for acting led him to travel for two years, first to the scenic Cayman Islands and then back to Vancouver, where he launched his acting career. He currently splits his time between Vancouver and Los Angeles for various film and television projects.

Chen's breakthrough came in 2000 when he portrayed Ben Fong-Torres, a real-life Rolling Stone editor, in Cameron Crowe's acclaimed film, Almost Famous. His impressive body of work includes appearances in Steven Spielberg's Emmy-winning miniseries Taken, as well as notable films like I, Robot, The Chronicles of Riddick, and Snakes on a Plane. He has also been featured in numerous television series.

Having honed his craft under the guidance of esteemed acting coach Kirsten Clarkson at Screen Acting School, Chen has enjoyed a successful acting career. His latest project includes the horror/thriller They Wait, where he stars alongside Jaime King and young actor Regan Oey.
