Jean Boht
Jean Boht, born Jean Dance, was a distinguished English actress renowned for her memorable portrayal of Nellie Boswell in Carla Lane's beloved sitcom, "Bread." Her acting career, which began in 1971 and extended into the 2010s, showcased her versatility across various genres. Boht made notable appearances in television series such as "Softly, Softly" (1971), "Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em" (1978), and "Juliet Bravo" during the mid-1980s. In 1989, she gained further recognition as the featured subject on the iconic television program "This Is Your Life."
A graduate of Wirral Grammar School for Girls, Boht's talent shone both on stage and screen.
