Willie Garson Paszamant (February 20, 1964 – September 21, 2021) was a prominent American actor renowned for his extensive work across film and television, with over 75 films and more than 300 television episodes to his credit. He is best remembered for his iconic portrayal of Stanford Blatch on HBO's groundbreaking series, *Sex and the City*, and its follow-up films, as well as the spin-off series, *And Just Like That...*. Additionally, Garson captivated audiences as Mozzie in the USA Network's *White Collar* (2009–2014) and made notable appearances in projects such as *Little Manhattan* (2005), *Hawaii Five-0*, and *Stargate SG-1*.

Born in Highland Park, New Jersey, to Muriel (née Schwartz) and Donald M. Paszamant, Garson was raised in a Jewish household and developed a passion for the arts at an early age, spending 11 years at Camp Wekeela in Maine. He graduated from Highland Park High School in 1982, followed by a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wesleyan University in 1985 and a Master of Fine Arts from Yale Drama School.

Garson's career launched in theater, leading to a film debut in the 1989 comedy *Troop Beverly Hills*, but his breakout came in 1998 with *Sex and the City*. Over the years, he showcased his comedic talents and versatility in numerous projects, including *The Rock* (1996) and *There's Something About Mary* (1998). His untimely passing at age 57 on September 21, 2021, due to pancreatic cancer, left a significant void in the entertainment industry.
