Jacques Castelot, originally named Jacques Marie Paul Éloi Storms, was born on July 11, 1914, and passed away on August 25, 1989. He was a prominent French actor whose career spanned over four decades, during which he featured in 86 films from 1938 to 1982. Castelot was part of a creative family; his brother, André Castelot, gained recognition as a writer, and their father was the esteemed Symbolist painter, Maurice Chabas.
