Austin Butler
Austin Robert Butler, born on August 17, 1991, is a talented American actor whose career spans television, theater, and film. He embarked on his acting journey with various roles on Disney Channel and Nickelodeon, gaining notable attention for his performance in the series Zoey 101 from 2007 to 2008. Butler's early work continued with recurring roles in popular teen dramas, including The CW's Life Unexpected (2010-2011) and Switched at Birth (2011-2012). His breakthrough came with leading roles in The Carrie Diaries (2013-2014) and The Shannara Chronicles (2016-2017).
In 2018, Butler made a significant impact on Broadway with his performance in the revival of The Iceman Cometh. He further expanded his filmography with a role as Tex Watson in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019). However, it was his portrayal of the legendary Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann's Elvis (2022) that catapulted him to international fame, earning him a Golden Globe, a BAFTA Award, and an Oscar nomination for Best Actor.
