Gisela Hahn
Gisela Hahn, originally named Gisela Drenkhan, was born in Briesen, West Prussia. Her family's experience as refugees led them to relocate to Hamburg when she was just two years old. She spent her formative years in Visselhövede, where her passion for the performing arts began to flourish. In 1963, seeking greater opportunities, Gisela moved to Munich. To support her ambitions, she worked as a doctor's assistant while simultaneously pursuing private lessons in acting and singing. This determination paid off, and in 1964, she made her theatrical debut, adopting the stage name "Gisela Hahn." Her journey from a refugee child to a recognized actress exemplifies resilience and dedication to her craft, marking the beginning of a vibrant career in the performing arts.
