Plot

In "Banana Joe," the titular island farmer thrives by bartering his bananas for supplies within his close-knit community. Trouble arises when gangsters arrive with intentions to build a banana processing facility, prompting Joe to stand up to them. However, their mob boss learns that Joe lacks the necessary operating license. After the gang informs the authorities, Joe's boat is confiscated, leading him to embark on his first journey to the bustling city in search of assistance to reclaim his livelihood and protect his home.
