Grant Cramer
Grant Cramer, born on November 10, 1961, is an accomplished American actor known for his diverse roles in film and television. He is the son of renowned actress Terry Moore. Grant's acting career took off in 1980 with his debut in the horror film "New Year's Evil." However, it was his 1984 performance in the cult comedy "Hardbodies," where he portrayed Scotty Palmer, that solidified his status in Hollywood. He further gained recognition for his role in the 1988 cult classic "Killer Klowns from Outer Space," and later appeared in the 2001 action film "Mach 2." His most recent film work includes the 2009 movie "Follow the Prophet."
On television, Grant made an early impression with his role as a troubled teen in the 1982 made-for-television movie "Desperate Lives." He became well-known for his portrayal of the psychotic stalker Shawn Garrett on CBS's soap opera "The Young and the Restless" from 1985 to 1986, later revisiting the series in 1996 as Adam Hunter, a romantic interest for Ashley Abbott. Cramer has also made guest appearances on various popular shows, including "The Facts of Life" and "Murder, She Wrote."
In recent years, Grant has ventured into writing, producing, and directing. His award-winning short film "Say Goodnight, Michael" showcased his talents behind the camera, while he also created and executive produced the VH1 series "Old Skool with Terry and Gita." Currently, he is working on producing and directing "The Fallen," an action-adventure horror film set to begin production in March 2011, featuring a star-studded cast including Dominic Purcell, Vinnie Jones, and Peter Stormare.
