Nonna Mordyukova

Nonna Viktorovna Mordyukova, born on November 25, 1925, in the village of Konstantinovka in the Ukrainian SSR, was a celebrated actress in Soviet and Russian cinema. After completing her studies at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) in 1950, she quickly established herself as a formidable talent, known for her compelling performances and captivating screen presence. Throughout her illustrious career, Mordyukova appeared in a number of significant films, including the critically acclaimed "The Commissar" (1967), "The Red Snowball Tree" (1974), and "Kinship" (1981).
