Kym Ng

Kym Ng, whose full name is Ng Kwee Khim, is a prominent television host and actress hailing from Singapore. Renowned for her engaging personality, she has made a significant mark in the entertainment industry, particularly in the realm of variety shows.

Ng's educational journey began at River Valley High School, followed by pre-university studies at Tanjong Katong Secondary School. Before entering the world of showbiz, she worked as a flight stewardess with Singapore Airlines. Her career in entertainment took off in 1995 when she joined the Television Corporation of Singapore, MediaCorp's predecessor. She quickly gained popularity as a host on the infotainment program City Beat, where her charisma earned her two Star Awards for Best Variety Show Host.

In 2001, she transitioned to SPH MediaWorks, only to return to MediaCorp after its merger in 2005. Over her career, Ng has hosted over 150 shows, showcasing her versatility, especially on Chinese language channels like Channel 8 and Channel U.

Ng's acting career includes notable performances such as her role in the film Gone Shopping, which received critical acclaim. Her hosting of the successful Love on a Plate in 2011 garnered her a third Star Award for Best Variety Show Host, and her role in When Duty Calls won her a Best Supporting Actress award at the 2018 Star Awards. Recognized as an All-Time Favourite Artiste in 2019, Kym Ng continues to shine as the co-host of The Sheng Siong Show, captivating audiences with her vibrant presence.
