Fan Bingbing
Fan Bingbing (Chinese: 范冰冰), born on September 16, 1981, in Yantai, is a prominent Chinese actress renowned for her contributions to both the domestic and international film industries. From 2013 to 2017, she consistently topped the Forbes China Celebrity 100 list, marking her as the highest-paid celebrity during those years, and she maintained a position in the top 10 since 2006. In 2017, her influence was recognized globally when she was named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people.
Fan's career began in East Asian television, gaining early acclaim for her role in the hit drama series My Fair Princess (1998–1999). She achieved significant fame with the 2003 film Cell Phone, which became the highest-grossing film in China that year. Her filmography boasts notable titles such as Lost in Beijing (2007), Buddha Mountain (2011), and Double Xposure (2012). Her performance in I Am Not Madame Bovary (2016) earned her the Silver Shell for Best Actress at the San Sebastián International Film Festival and the Asian Film Award for Best Actress.
