Cemre Ebüzziya
Cemre Ebüzziya hails from a distinguished Turkish lineage of creatives and intellectuals. Born to actress Nilgün Utku, her family background is rich with artistic talent; her uncle is actor Menderes Utku, while her aunt, Alev Ebüzziya, is a renowned ceramic artist. Her grandfathers include Ümit Utku, a celebrated director and screenwriter, and Ziyad Ebüzziya, a notable politician and journalist.
Cemre's educational journey began at the Istanbul Pierre Loti Private School, where she studied predominantly in French until the age of 17. She furthered her artistic pursuits at the North Carolina School of the Arts Conservatory in the United States. Her acting career took off in 2012 with a role in the acclaimed Turkish television series "Muhtesem Yüzyil" ("Magnificent Century"). She made her feature film debut in 2015 with "Bulanti."
Throughout her career, Cemre Ebüzziya has collaborated with several prominent directors, including Zeki Demirkubuz, Ferzan Özpetek, Emin Alper, and Cem Yilmaz, showcasing her versatility and talent across various cinematic styles.
