Teenage best friends Doe and Muna embark on what they hope will be an unforgettable adventure. Doe, a quiet observer, hasn't traveled since she arrived in the UK as a Somali refugee at the age of three. Muna, bold and sharp-witted with Pakistani heritage, navigates them through airport security and into the unknown. However, this isn’t just a vacation; they’re headed to Istanbul with plans to cross into Syria in search of a new life filled with purpose. When their contact fails to show up, panic ensues, but retreat is not an option. Alone in an unfamiliar city, they must quickly adapt, testing the limits of their courage, faith, and friendship.
