Katherine Dee "KaDee" Strickland, born on December 14, 1975, is a talented American actress renowned for her diverse roles across television and film. Strickland gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Debbie Strickland in Freeform's hit drama **Cruel Summer**. She also captivated audiences as Linda Haverford in Hulu's **Shut Eye** and Christy Crawford in ABC’s **Secrets & Lies**. Her film career includes notable performances in Tyler Perry's **The Family That Preys**, and prominent roles in horror films such as **The Grudge** and **Anacondas**, which earned her the title of "newest scream queen" in the horror genre.
Strickland's journey into acting began in high school, followed by formal training in Philadelphia and New York City. She made her film debut in **The Sixth Sense** (1999) and continued to build her resume with roles in **Something's Gotta Give** and **Fever Pitch** (2005), the latter receiving positive acclaim.
