Xiao Zhan

Xiao Zhan, born on October 5, 1991, in Chongqing, China, is a multifaceted talent recognized as an actor and singer, as well as a former member of the boy band X NINE. Prior to launching his entertainment career, he honed his creative skills as a photographer and graphic designer, and in September 2019, he founded his own studio, XZ Studio.

Xiao Zhan's rise to fame surged in 2019 when he captivated audiences with his portrayal of Wei Wuxian in the critically acclaimed fantasy series "The Untamed." This role not only garnered him widespread acclaim but also earned him prestigious accolades such as the "Most Popular Actor" at the Golden Tower Award and the "Most Popular Actor of the Year" at the Sina Film & TV Awards. His influence was further recognized with a spot on Forbes China's "30 Under 30 Asia 2019" list.

In addition to acting, Xiao Zhan has made significant strides in music, with his single "Spotlight" achieving remarkable success as the fastest-selling digital track in China in 2020 and securing a place in the Guinness World Records as one of the top ten biggest-selling digital singles globally.

In April 2021, he made his stage debut in the play "A Dream Like A Dream," honoring frontline workers during the pandemic. Recently, on November 2, 2023, he was honored with the Outstanding Young Actor Award for his role in "The Youth Promises" at the 19th Annual Chinese-American Film & TV Festival in Los Angeles. Additionally, on February 10, 2024, he was recognized as CMG’s 2nd Annual Chinese TV Series Breakthrough Actor for his performances in “The Youth Memories” and “Sunshine by My Side.” Looking ahead, his studio announced the upcoming release of his debut solo album “Us,” featuring ten tracks, set to launch online in November 2024.
