The Wolf (2020)

Overview

Set against the tumultuous backdrop of the late Tang Dynasty, Zhu Wen seizes power and forms the Liang Kingdom. A young boy, who risks his life to save wolf pups, falls from a cliff but is saved and adopted by Zhu Wen, receiving the name Zhu Youwen. A decade later, now titled Prince of Bo, Zhu Youwen encounters Zhaixing, the governor's daughter, and their romance blossoms. As Zhaixing uncovers Zhu Youwen's noble character, the couple finds themselves caught in a dangerous web of political intrigue and ambition, challenging the very fabric of their society.
