Geneviève Grad
Geneviève Gabrielle Grad (July 5, 1944 – November 7, 2024) was a celebrated French actress renowned for her contributions to cinema and television. She gained significant recognition for her role as Nicole Cruchot, the daughter of the iconic police officer Ludovic Cruchot, portrayed by Louis de Funès, in the beloved Gendarme of Saint-Tropez film series, appearing in the first three installments from 1964 to 1968.
In addition to her memorable role in the Gendarme franchise, Grad showcased her talent alongside Paul Guers in notable films such as Flash Love (1972) and Libertés sexuelles (1977). Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, she made numerous appearances in various television films and series, further establishing her presence in the French entertainment landscape.
Beyond her acting career, Grad's personal life included a son with the renowned science communicator Igor Bogdanoff. She later married Jean René André Yvon Guillaume on March 19, 1993, and settled in Vendôme, located in the Loir-et-Cher region of France.
