Don Adams
Don Adams (April 13, 1923 – September 25, 2005) was a prominent American actor, comedian, and director whose career spanned over fifty years in the entertainment industry. He gained widespread recognition for his iconic role as Maxwell Smart, also known as Agent 86, in the beloved television series *Get Smart*, which aired from 1965 to 1970 and saw a revival in 1995. Adams' portrayal of the bumbling yet endearing secret agent earned him three consecutive Emmy Awards from 1967 to 1969, solidifying his place in television history.
In addition to *Get Smart*, Adams showcased his versatile voice talent in several animated series. He lent his voice to the titular character in *Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales* from 1963 to 1966 and later became the voice of Inspector Gadget from 1983 to 1986, another character that became a pop culture icon. His unique vocal style and comedic timing also brought to life Sid Pickles in the animated series *Spike & Mike* from 1993 to 1999, along with subsequent films in the franchise.
