Plot

Cowabunga! Frankie and Annette reunite in this vibrant revival of their classic beach films. Now parents living in the Midwest, they head back to Los Angeles to see their daughter, who’s secretly dating. Their visit sparks tension in their marriage, especially when Frankie meets Connie, a devoted fan who has created a shrine for him at her nightclub. Meanwhile, their rebellious son aligns with local surf punks, leading to a showdown when the rival gang challenges them to a surfing duel.
