Miguel Ángel Solá is an esteemed Argentine actor with a rich career spanning multiple decades, having made over sixty appearances in film and television since his debut in 1973. Born in Buenos Aires, he hails from the illustrious Vehil family, a lineage of actors with Catalonian roots that spans eight generations. His mother, Paquita Vehil, and his aunt, the iconic Luisa Vehil, influenced his artistic journey, alongside his sister, Mónica, who is also an actress.

Solá's theatrical career began in 1971, leading to his television work in 1973 and his film debut in the 1975 production, Más allá del sol. He rose to prominence in 1976 with his performance in Peter Shaffer's Equus, sharing the stage with Duilio Marzio. His theatrical prowess is evident in notable productions such as The Elephant Man, Deathtrap, and Jean Cocteau's The Two-headed Eagle.

By the 1980s, Solá had established himself as a leading figure in Argentine cinema, starring in significant films like Asesinato en el senado de la nación (1984) and A dos aguas (1988). He took on the role of the early 20th-century doctor Salvador Mazza in the 1995 biopic Casas de fuego. His later works include La fuga (2001), The Impatient Alchemist (2000), and La puta y la ballena (2004), among others. Following his relocation to Spain, Solá has continued to thrive in theater, film, and television, and has been married to Spanish actress Blanca Oteyza since 1996.
