Verity Branco
Verity Branco hails from the quaint town of Westport, Massachusetts, where her Portuguese and Italian roots shaped her vibrant personality. She pursued her passion for performance by earning a Master’s in Fine Arts in Acting from The University of Texas at Austin, which laid the foundation for her successful career.
Branco's talent has been recognized on multiple occasions; she has clinched the Austin Critic's Table Award twice for her outstanding stage performances. Her film work also garnered attention when she received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the North Eastern Film Festival for her compelling portrayal of "Maysie" in the indie film "Sunny in the Dark."
In addition to her acting career, Verity co-created the bold YouTube channel "The Foodie Girls," which quickly gained popularity and led to her being featured on the Food Channel. Most recently, Verity's creative prowess extended to playwriting; she was nominated for the prestigious Beyond Bechtel Playwright Award for her world premiere of "SpiritWheel: a peek inside the cult of spin," a clever satire on the popular indoor cycling phenomenon, SoulCycle.
