Anna Galiena
Anna Galiena is a renowned Italian actress who has captivated audiences around the globe, particularly in English-speaking countries, through her memorable performances in films such as *Le Mari de la coiffeuse*, *Jamón, jamón*, and *Being Human*. Early in her career, Galiena made a name for herself on both off-Broadway and Broadway stages, showcasing her talent in various Shakespearean revivals. Before gaining international fame, she starred in over a dozen Italian films, but it was her role in *Le Mari de la coiffeuse* that catapulted her into the spotlight.
Following this breakthrough, she collaborated with celebrated director Bigas Luna in *Jamón, jamón*, and made her Hollywood debut in *Being Human*, directed by Bill Forsyth and featuring Robin Williams, although the film did not perform well at the box office.
Despite this setback, Galiena found her footing in European cinema, becoming a sought-after actress with a portfolio exceeding 50 films along with numerous television roles. Currently, she is involved in several upcoming projects, including a key supporting role in *Virgin Territory*, alongside Hayden Christensen and Mischa Barton, and stars in the thriller *Christopher Roth* with Joaquim de Almeida and Ben Gazzara.
In recognition of her contributions to the film industry, Anna Galiena served as a jury member at the 29th Moscow International Film Festival in 2007.
