Robert Rusler
Robert Rusler, born on September 20, 1965, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is a prominent American actor known for his work in both film and television. The son of Maria Elena Varela and Richard C. Rusler, he spent part of his youth in Waikiki Beach, Hawaii, where he honed his skills in surfing and skateboarding, even competing at a semi-professional level. Later, he relocated to Los Angeles, where he developed an interest in martial arts and engaged in various competitions.
After completing high school, Rusler pursued a career in acting, enrolling in classes at the Loft Studio under the guidance of Peggy Feury and William Taylor. His breakout role came in 1985 with the cult classic comedy "Weird Science," where he portrayed Max. He also gained recognition for his performance as Grady in the horror classic "A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge" and played Richard Lawson in the 1991 television film "Stephen King's Sometimes They Come Back."
Rusler's television career includes notable appearances in series such as "The Outsiders," "Angel Falls," and the acclaimed sci-fi show "Babylon 5," where he played Warren Keffer during the second season. He also lent his voice to the 1995 video game "Wing Commander IV," starring alongside Mark Hamill and Malcolm McDowell.
