Daniel Margotta
Daniel Margotta was born and raised in the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area. Demonstrating remarkable talent in both athletics and the arts from an early age, he embarked on his show business journey while attending college, working as a disc jockey in various nightclubs throughout New York City. He gained recognition by broadcasting live dance music on Hot 97 and WBLS.
In the early 1990s, Daniel sought to broaden his artistic skills by enrolling in prestigious acting schools in New York City such as HB Studios and the Lee Strasberg Institute of Acting. Throughout the 1990s, he secured principal roles in both film and television, ultimately achieving leading roles in productions like The Stand-In (1999), Wannabes (2000), and Jesus, Mary and Joey (2003), among others.
His career has garnered him significant recognition, including a Clio Award for his highly acclaimed "Got Milk" commercial. Additionally, he received the Best Supporting Actor award at the NY Film & Video Festival in May 2003 for his portrayal of "Cheech" in I Am Woody (2003). Daniel continues to thrive in the entertainment industry, showcasing his versatility and passion for performance.
