Plot
Louie Kritski, a callous landlord, faces the prospect of jail due to his appalling neglect of a run-down apartment complex. As a judge lays down the law, he offers Louie a chance to avoid prison: he must reside in his own decrepit building, infested with rodents, while making necessary improvements to meet livable conditions. Now trapped in a situation of his own making, Louie must confront the consequences of his actions and the reality of his tenants’ struggles.
