Zac Efron
Zachary David Alexander Efron, known professionally as Zac Efron, was born on October 18, 1987. He is a prominent American actor who began his professional acting career in the early 2000s. Efron gained widespread fame as a teen idol for his unforgettable portrayal of Troy Bolton in the beloved High School Musical trilogy, which aired from 2006 to 2008. His breakout role led to other significant projects, including the musical Hairspray in 2007 and the comedy 17 Again in 2009, the latter earning him a nomination for a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Efron continued to build an impressive filmography with key roles in various films, such as New Year's Eve (2011), The Lucky One (2012), The Paperboy (2012), Neighbors (2014), Dirty Grandpa (2016), Baywatch (2017), and the critically acclaimed musical The Greatest Showman (2017).
