Eddie Tagoe is a talented Ghanaian actor who gained recognition in the United Kingdom for his portrayal of "Presuming Ed" in the iconic 1986 film *Withnail and I*. He reprised this memorable role in a stage adaptation of the same film in 2000, further cementing his connection to this classic. Tagoe is also known to international audiences for his brief yet memorable role as the "Messenger Pirate" in *Raiders of the Lost Ark*, where he humorously alerted the ship’s captain about Indiana Jones' whereabouts.

In addition to these roles, Tagoe showcased his comedic skills as "Chocolate Mousse" in the 1984 spoof *Top Secret!*. His versatile acting career also includes appearances in films like *Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend*, *The Dogs of War*, and *Pink Floyd: The Wall*.
