Betty Warren (31 October 1907 – 15 December 1990) was a prominent British actress who made her mark in the entertainment world from the 1930s to the 1950s, particularly shining in comedic roles. Born Babette Hilda Hogan in Fareham, Hampshire, England, Warren showcased her talent early on, appearing in the production of Goody Two Shoes at the Prince's Theatre in Bristol between 1930 and 1931. She gained further acclaim for her performance in the musical Balalaika, which debuted at the Adelphi Theatre in London on 22 December 1936 and enjoyed a successful run of 569 performances.

Warren transitioned to film with her debut in Magyar Melody in 1939. She continued to build her filmography with notable works such as The Farmer's Wife (1941), Secret Mission (1942), and Variety Jubilee (1943). Her portrayal of Bessie Bellwood in Champagne Charlie (1944) solidified her status in the industry, followed by memorable performances in The Magic Bow (1946) and Passport to Pimlico (1949), alongside Stanley Holloway. She also appeared in So Long at the Fair (1950) and Tread Softly Stranger (1958).

In addition to her film career, Warren made her mark on television, featuring in three episodes of Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., Presents (1953-1954). In 1955, she embarked on a UK tour in the premiere of Sandy Wilson's The Buccaneer. Betty Warren passed away in Yeovil, Somerset, England, in 1990 at the age of 83, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and entertainment.
