Plot

Focusing on three generations of a family running a music hall, this melodrama explores the intertwining lives of its characters. In the early 1900s, friends Kit Burns and Joe Swann find their bond tested when Kit marries Joe's dance partner, Evelyn. After serving in the Boer War, a devastating injury ends Joe's dancing career, leading him to work at Burns' Music Hall. There, he develops a strong connection with Kit Jr. Ultimately, Kit and Joe team up to buy the music hall, where they achieve remarkable success together, navigating love, friendship, and ambition.
