Meiko Kaji
Masako Ōta, widely recognized by her stage name Meiko Kaji, is a celebrated Japanese actress and enka singer born on March 24, 1947, in Chiyoda, Tokyo Prefecture.
Kaji's artistic journey began after she graduated from Yakumo Academy in Meguro in 1965, leading to her debut at Nikkatsu Studios, where she initially took on supporting roles during the late 1960s.
