Plot
Mikami, a middle-aged ex-yakuza, is released from prison after 13 years for murder. Eager to reconnect with his long-lost mother, he auditions for a television show, where he encounters the ambitious director Tsunoda. As he navigates the challenges of reintegrating into society, Mikami’s stubbornness and outdated views clash with Tsunoda and others who wish to assist him. His journey explores the complexities of redemption, the struggle for acceptance, and the bonds formed through shared struggles, all while he seeks to reconcile his past with a hopeful future.
